Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) is one of the world’s largest companies and one of the world’s largest suppliers of material handling solutions, both within forklifts and related products and services. The subsidiary Toyota Material Handling Logistics Solutions (TMHLS) which is a central part of the development and innovation part of TMHE is located at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg. TMHLS develops solutions in automation, telematics, software development, and inventory management and has approximately 150 employees. TMHE has a total of approximately 9000 employees in about thirty sales companies, as well as in development and manufacturing units in Sweden, Italy, and France. The head office is in Mjölby, where smart solutions for material handling and unique trucks are developed and produced.


As a Digital Training Specialist, you will be a part of the TMHLS Academy team and have a key role in defining our digital training transformation. The LS Academy Team is responsible for developing learning solutions and instructional material in all our business areas which includes automation solutions, automated trucks, racking and operator training, utilizing E-Learning Software and Learning Management Systems. You will be in close collaboration with different departments within the company as well as external partners in transforming complex solutions and technical material into easy to grasp interactive packages with an eye for design and detail. We are in the early stages of our digital transformation journey and believe that you will be a vital part and leading the way to create digital content to our customers, both external and internal.

As a person you have strong communication skills in both speech and writing. You are used to collaboration and good at building relationships. To succeed in this role, you need to have experience from coordinating and developing educational programs for different target groups. It is important to understand the dynamics of learning in the whole range from skill or technical learning and certification to mindset and attitude exploration as part of a larger change journey. You are creative, curious, design-oriented and self-driven. Since you will be facing different parts and levels of our organization it is important that you are open minded, can manage multiple projects, and work in a fast pace environment.

A university degree within the area of Visual Communication, Web-Design, Graphic Design etc is required. You must have at least 3 years’ experience from creating E-learning concepts from start to finish and have great knowledge of tools for web animation, web graphics and photo editing etc. Proficiency knowledge in Articulate, Storyline, and Adobe Creative Suite are required. You have worked with multimedia design and have experience from developing educational programs. Previous experience from the Software and Automotive industry is a merit.
