Toyota Material Handling Europe is one of the world’s largest companies and one of the world’s largest suppliers of material handling solutions, both within forklifts and related products and services. The subsidiary Logistics Solutions (TMHLS) which is a central part of the development and innovation part of Toyota Material Handling is located at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg. Logistics Solutions develops solutions in automation, telematics, software development and inventory management and has approximately 150 employees. Toyota Material Handling Europe has a total of approximately 9000 employees in about thirty sales companies, as well as in development and manufacturing units in Sweden, Italy and France. The head office is located in Mjölby, where smart solutions for material handling and unique trucks are developed and produced.
 
YOUR CHALLENGE
As a Product Manager for Automation Software at Toyota Material Handling Logistics Solutions you will manage the prioritization and the implementation of the roadmap. As product manager you are responsible for the lifecycle management of the Software Platforms; T-ONE, ARC and OM.
Stakeholder management is key in this role. In addition to your role as Product Manager for Automation Software you have an important role as member of the Solution Management Team for Automation Solutions – contributing to the overall Solution portfolio and roadmap.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Manager Software (OM, ARC och T-ONE), within the area of Automation
  • Collect, maintain and analyse internal and external customer requirements
  • Investigate, select, and drive the development of the product in line with the company's needs
  • Active member of the Solution Area Automation, with contributions to the Solution Area portfolio and roadmap development
  • Benchmark the product with state of the art technology and industry trends
  • Create competitor analysis
  • Create and maintain product roadmap, agreed with stakeholders
  • Present roadmap in governance boards
  • Communicate roadmap to market and sales offices
  • Prioritize and plan projects derived from road map as input for product owners, project managers and software development.

Krav

YOUR PROFILE
As a person, you have strong communication skills and enjoy working with customers and building relationships. You are used to working with agile methods and have a good understanding of the product development process. To be successful in this position it’s important to have extensive experience in product management, sales and business development and experience of automated vehicles and automation.

A relevant university degree in engineering, computer science, product development or interaction design is desirable. In order to succeed in this role, you need to have at least 3 years of relevant work experience within product management. You have strong communication skills and you are fluent in English, spoken as well as written.
