Toyota Material Handling Europe is one of the world’s largest companies and one of the world’s largest suppliers of material handling solutions, both within forklifts and related products and services. The subsidiary Logistics Solutions (TMHLS) which is a central part of the development and innovation part of Toyota Material Handling is located at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg. Logistics Solutions develops solutions in automation, telematics, software development and inventory management and has approximately 150 employees. Toyota Material Handling Europe has a total of approximately 9000 employees in about thirty sales companies, as well as in development and manufacturing units in Sweden, Italy and France. The head office is in Mjölby, where smart solutions for material handling and unique trucks are developed and produced.

YOUR CHALLENGE
As a Service Design and UX Strategist you will be a member of our UX team. You will work together with our Logistics Solutions teams to ensure that Products, Services and Solutions are designed to create the best experience for the users. You will work with different UX areas from user research to interaction design. An important part of your work is the overall Service and Solution offering with a System view in collaboration with the Solution and System Architects and with the development teams during the implementation phase. We work with agile methods.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners and the agile development teams to develop state of the art products and solutions
• Work with Solution and System Architects to design a strong end to end System offer for our Services and Solutions.
• Understand the users’ needs and expectations globally
• As a member of the UX team, drive the overall user experience cross a solution.
• Contribute to the work with our Business Impact Map
• Visualise and explain concepts and design through appropriate tools such as Adobe XP, Balsamiq, Sketch or equivalent
• Support and coach colleagues in the area of UX when needed
• Be updated on best practices within the area of UX

Krav

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a person who puts the User in focus and is passionate about the overall System design and delivering a strong End-to-End Service and Solution. You have experience from working with global software applications, preferably in the transportation or automotive area. You are used to working with agile methods and have a good understanding of software development processes, preferably Scrum and SAFe.
You shall be able to take responsibility on your own. To set up a structure and think several steps ahead is a part of the work, as well as including responsive and adaptive design to a solution. Discussing pros and cons with different solutions from various angels is also important.

To succeed in this role, you need to have at least 5 years of relevant work experience within Service Design, User research and Interaction design. Previous experiences from Usability Testing is appreciated. A relevant university degree in user experience, computer science, product development or interaction design is desirable.

You have strong communication skills and you are fluent in English, spoken as well as written. Occasional traveling is requested.
